Enheduana of Sumer

Enheduanna was the first author that ever existed, she wrote 42 poems in totall. She was the daughter of king Sargon, a farm boy that had raised to power. In inverse to her 2 younger brothers she was very talented and when she grew into a teenager she was sent to Ur, the most sacred city of summer. She soon became a very important high priestess of the god of the moon. She lived in the highest room of the Zigurat, so she could stay close to the gods. She organized a lot of religious ceremonies, and an exeptionaly big one for new year. During her freetime she wrote poems, but not on paper, on clay tablets, she was a very popular writter at her time, archaeologists were able to find more than 50 of her same work. She was a priestess for 25 years, sadly, when her nephew became king, we suppose that she finished her life in exhile in the desert.

Hammurabi's Babylonia

King Hammurabi was on of world's greatest ruler, he was the king of Babylonia in 1792 B.C. He was the cause of some great improvements in Arts, science, commerce and created many rules, also known as "The code of Hammurabi". Hammurabi seriously helped Babylonia to have some good agriculture by having some good irrigation systems and always checking if there were good farm lands. Because the agriculture was so good, they had surplus that they stored and traded, it's one of the reasons that Babylonia became an important trading center. And because the trades were working so well the economy flourished. The economy was so great that Babylonia was able to construct some magnificent temples and palaces.
At this time "kings, high priests, wealthy upper class families, and some well placed government official had splendid homes and wore the finest garments." Then came the craft-workers, farmers, tradespeople, clerks and merchant, they lived in quite simple house and really had to work hard to be able to feed there families. Finally slaves were the lowest rung, but compared to other places, they had some rights, they could have some "after-work jobs" and could buy there own freedom. Hammurabi even tried to give some women rights, for example woman were able to have there own money.

In conclusion, Hammurabi was a very fair ruler at his time and  made Babylonia's economic, trade and agriculture flourish.

A DAY IN LIFE OF A BRONZE AGE TRADER

Today I woke up at 5:30 am , I began melting the rocks and separating the metal copper from the rocks, then I mixed the copper with the metal that we call "Tin". I do that everyday, It's my job, I make this mettal called bronze and then make weapons, tools, helmets and sheilds, but the biggest part of my job is trading all of those objects. Then at 11:00 Pm I stope my morning activities to start heading foward the market. I find it incredible this new invention called "the wheel" because of this, tradings much easier and faster to bring and cary the bronze object. So, as I entered with my cart in the market, the market was fool of hundred of people trading their personal goods. I went too my usual spot and stayed there seing hundred of people coming to my stand trading some of their goods against my great bronze objects, for about 8 hours I first stopped to the fruit and vegetable stand trade a bronz knife against some food to make a soup for my family tonight, then I stopped to trade some meat, finally because of todays fabulous affairs, I decided to go trade my best weapon and sheild to get a two meter squared bed for my companion and I. I went back to my home , my companion made diner and after went to sleep early to have energy for an other day at work

LAST HUMAN STANDING

A long time ago, before any king and queens, before Egypt, before the
first homo sapiens, about 600 000-350 000 years ago,in Europe, were
standing the Homo Neanderthals, they had a bigger brain then ours,
and twice as much survival capacity as we do but still, they got extinct.
Why did they get extinct and we didn't? That's what the scientist of our
time are trying to answer. And now because of a lot of research, we
know the answer!!!!! Neanderthals leaved for quit a long time, but even
if they had bigger brains then ours,They didn't use the most important
parts of their brain, for  example the speech  and language part of
their brain, So they couldn't communicate like we do and their tools
weren't as advancedso a lot of them died will hunting. But the two
main reasons of why we survived are our diet and the climate.
At the time homo sapiens moved next to the see and began to eat
almost only berries and most incredibly... Cooked shell fishes!!!!
And because they were big ties there, it means that they were smart
enough to know exactly when to go take the selfish, because if they
didn't do it on the right time, they would have drowned. But to know
when the tides were low it means that they studied the moon patterns,
they got smarter! Also, Because of their new environment, they
began creating new tools. Not like all of the other early humans
whom had problems adapting to their environment,Homo sapiens
could easily adapt,so It's why We are the last human standing!!

From Grunt to grammar

Since the beginning of time, communication was one of the most important thing for human survival. But when and how did the first human learn to talk? To answer this question scientists study our ancestors body, more exactly their voice, also called Larynx box and their brain cavities. A very interesting fact about voice box is that the Adams apple found in the boys through is in fact the larynx  that is now that they are older, little bit down. As said in the article " There's some evidence that areas of the brain evolved in homo Habilis, the earliest human. So eve two and a half million years ago, our ancestors probably had at least the beginning of speech and language capabilities". What we also discovered is that early humans used, hands, facial expressions and language to communicate with others. We also Know that Early humans drew on cave walls, was it to communicate with others or just for pleasure, who knows?
